Me (left) and My brother Danial Ragsdale. I was Training Officer with Rockingham
County EMS when my little brother called and said that he had something he wanted
to talk to me about. A week later he came by my office and told me he wanted to
become a Paramedic. "For Gods sake why?" was my reply as I remember it. Danial
was a trombone player and won many honors at all levels. He had a scolarship to
Western Carolina in music which is where I thought he was heading until he sprung
his little surprise on me. Instead, he enrolled at Guilford Tech, graduated and went
to work at Randolph County EMS.
I tried to talk him out of becoming a Paramedic but he is a little too much like his
older brother.
He has recently been hired by Guilford County EMS where he will soon be the best
Medic they have.
